For Adoption - Silver Fox Pair - STATUS:  Available

Current Location - Wendover, Utah

We would like to find a good home for these guys as we are moving our animals to Nevada, which doesn't allow foxes to be imported into the state. Silver foxes are legal in Utah and considered domestic animals as far as the state regulations go, so no permit (COR) is required to keep them, but some cities and counties in Utah do NOT allow them, so check with your local ordinances. The male is a marble silver fox and is 3 years old and the female, solid silver, is 7 years old. They had three beautiful silver marble babies on Easter Day, but that is the only litter that the female has produced. These were hand-raised as kits, but are not pets! They are fun little animals but foxes are skunky smelling, messy, and can be very nippy when stressed. We are not asking any money for them, but want to do our best to get them a good home so we are requesting photos of the potential enclosure and a vet phone number for reference. For anyone interested in breeding them, a USDA licensed is required to sell their offspring. We would prefer to see them spay/neutered and kept together in a nice big outdoor enclosure.

For information on adopting the silver fox pair please contact  Deeanna at deeannac@wild-side.org, deeannac@msn.com, or 775-408-0011 (cell).

For Adoption - Tiffany - Woodchuck - STATUS:  Available
Current Location - Wendover, Nevada

Female Woodchuck (a.k.a groundhog) to good home. Each state has different laws regarding possession of wildlife, but in Utah, you need a COR from the Dept. of Wildlife Resources to have a woodchuck. In Nevada you need a license from Nevada Dept. of Wildlife.  No money is being asked for her, but we want to make sure we get her into a good home so photos of potential enclosure and a vet number for reference will be expected. Tiffany has been used for educational display, but woodchuck's can be pretty feisty so she's not what most people would consider a pet.

For information on adopting Tiffany,  please contact  Deeanna at deeannac@wild-side.org, deeannac@msn.com, or 775-408-0011 (cell).

For Adoption - 5 Patagonian Cavies - STATUS:  Available
Current Location - Wendover, Utah

Five Patagonian Cavies Available for Adoption. States have varying laws regarding possession of exotics and wildlife, but in Utah a COR from the Dept. of Wildlife Resources is required to have these guys. These are neat animals to watch, but they are not pets for most people. They can stress easily. These are hardy little animals and pretty easy to care for, but we'd like to see them go to people with prior experience with guinea pigs and exotics.  These are herd animals and need to be placed together. Pictures of potential enclosure and vet phone number required for reference.

For information on adopting the five Patagonian cavies, please contact  Deeanna at deeannac@wild-side.org, deeannac@msn.com, or 775-408-0011 (cell).
